Hello! QAQ
Oi, I’m not the best person when it comes to giving advice, especially since I’ve never done a comic before OTL, but I will try. Stock photos are good help you out with angles and stuff. deviantART has a great variety of stock images, or you can take some yourself! Perhaps take a walk and just take random photos of people and buildings.
Also looking at your favorite comics could help out too! Carciphona by Shilin I think is a great comic and has amazing action scenes and stuff if you wanna check it out ;u; I think looking at how others do things is very helpful.
Uhm hand references? There’s this that I saw floating around Tumblr a few times that looks helpful~ Most of the time, though, I just usually look at my own hand for reference.
The best advice I can really give you, though, is to just go for it! Sure it may not turn out exactly how you want it the first time or it may not look that great but it will if you stick with it. You improve every time you draw.
I’m really sorry that I’m not very helpful u_u But I wish you luck on your comic!
Yes u____u I only have one semester (4 classes) left! And sorry the late reply I had to go back into my archives to find something haha (plus multitasking is hard OTL) Uh ok, anyway
Liberal Arts is basically just a little bit of everything. At the community college I attend I have to take like a certain amount of credits for each ‘subject’ plus electives. So like I have to take some Communication (English and Public Speaking), Mathematics, Lab Science, Technology (computer courses), Social Science (i.e psychology, anthropology, etc), Humanites (i.e. art history, elementary chinese, etc), History, and Diversity classes.
I copied and pasted that LOL so if it’s a different font that’s why
I hope that makes sense :3
Most of the time everything is from my head OTL I normally don’t use any references… If I ever use references, though, I’ll say like ‘refs used’ and I’ll try to credit if I remember/can find the picture @_@
